Heart’s revelation

It’s neither destiny nor fate
That made you my choice
I’m trying to forget you or hate
Like a trial to catch sun rays
I ignore when you’ll open your gate
For my broken heart who says :
“I’m the king but you’re my checkmate
Me who was of rock and ice !

But now…

Now i’m melting into your heat

Even you’re apart from my sight
I can feel you in every beat
In every moment of day and night
If you’ll be my throne or my seat
I want you to be my shining light”.

    Feelings flow, words follow

Quill Strokes hit the right tones on the heart stanzas, demonstrating the panache of a POET who sees, feels and captures; captures light and darkness, life and death, hope and despair…

In “Heart’s Revelation”, love swift winds took the sail to a faraway isle to embrace a heaven of warm and sweet feelings…

The poem is “neither destiny nor fate”, it is the utterances of “every beat”…

In “Her Dark Night”, a melancholic music mingles among the bones of “thoughts and mysteries” to ask “unanswered questions”…

Her dark night seems longer than ours, and the lantern darker and colder…

The mysterious “she” emerges from the stanzas as the snow-princess waiting for a prince that would bring a glimpse of light among a world crashed by darkness and despair…

“How long when will she remain that way”, another question in “How Long”, a poem that seeks another unanswered question and another glimpse of light…

“Darkness, night…fear and sorrows”, cries out the lines, bleeds the quill…

But hope is at the rendezvous, a pink sling slides down the shoulder, snow plays a natural symphony, a golden sun warms hearts and eyes… A hope tableau…

Rain drops fall to wash hearts and to bring hope… Hope… keep on falling rain drops…

keep on flowing feelings… Keep on raining words…

    Keep on Safae…
